Recognising that a problem solved for one person is probably a problem solved for many people we applied for a UK Patent.

Unfortunately after paying a patent agent lots of money the patent office did a search and appologised for not discovering an existing patent.

I have written to the UK patent office to ask how they propose that I recover my outlay - as it was their ineptitude that led to my expenses.
